January 2017

One of my favorite things about where I live is the awesome view of the Mountains! I can see them out my kitchen window, and we get to visit them often in the warmer months.  This is that awesome view in January. This January was not unique, it is just what we live with every year. A month without a mountain view and a month without going outside in fear of your own health. So I feel it is my responsibility to keep my family both sane and away from the winter blues. Of course, these pictures do not reflect every minute of our days, but glimpses of when we have just about reached our limit of doing a bunch of nothing indoors.
Jump around Utah has been a favorite of Lincoln and Oliver...but Thomas has never liked it.
Until our trip in January, he finally warmed up to the idea and now he can't get enough.
Lincoln was pretty proud of his lil art project he created over the winter break. He draws a lot, and they are usually about as impressive as what you see below, but in his sweet little mind, he has a special talent. In fact one day, he may become an artist.
These Christmas presents from Gram Graham were a hit! Over Christmas break, these boys just couldn't stop playing together. It was kinda fun to have Lincoln around again.
Thomas is growing in so many ways. He watches his brothers intently and learns their behaviors so quickly. He is never last in line to make a tunnel for the train!
We've had a pass to discovery gateway. We even got Dean to go with us. There were a few exhibits that he definitely liked more than the boys.
More boy bridges, only this time it was Ryker's train.
Thomas has yet to use a word. But don't let him fool you! He can light up any room with his little personality. And he will be sure you know exactly what he wants.
Right now, he just wants you to laugh with him!

We walk to school. Every day. It's just what we do. It's only a half mile, and sometimes you would think we're asking the world from these boys. But on the snow days. That half mile can take up to an hour to with all of the stops for snow fun.
 More Discovery Gateway fun
And a last minute trip to Scheels
Uncle Kyle flew into town one weekend. When he's around, everyone wants to be with him!
It was nice to see my dad back on the floor playing with the boys again. He's had some really good days in the last few months. The good days don't come without some really hard days, but it makes everyone a little more grateful when the good days are here!
I let Oliver finish the bowl. ...And he did.
