Sunday naps are the best! It was time to go to grandma's but, oh how I hate to wake a sleeping baby!
My mom, is pretty cool. Her first ever triathlon and she got 2nd place! This is one of almost a dozen medals she's earned in the last couple of months. Pickelball, Races, biking, racquetball, this woman doesn't know how to stop!
My boys love these calendars! I make them quarterly, and the boys look at them every day. If I ever forget to write something on them, they let me know. Here's a look at our summer fun!
Back to school time also means back to football time! It has been a fun year to be a Utah fan! One of Utah's best seasons, and people keep offering us their extra tickets. We'll take 'em! This is Jodi's family, but we got all the boys in too!
Next to the frozen lemonade Dean buys the boys, Lincoln's favorite part of the games is getting his bag ready. He is so prepared, and never forgets his flag.
Whenever Ezra sees a the Utah drum and feather logo, he puts his hands together and says Go Utes.
A Sunday evening game at John's. Ezra just couldn't quite make it through.
We made it to the Planetarium a couple of times since school has been in. Some shots just never get old.
And we've talked some friends into taking us to This is the Place. Another awesome Salt Lake Hot Spot.
For Dean's birthday we made a cookie cake.
Then we went to Scales and Tails. It was the perfect place for these four boys. Ryker made it five boys, and they ALL loved it! Lincoln has come a long way since the last time we visited this place three years ago.
Thomas has no reserves when it comes to handling these creatures.
And Oliver has always been my biggest animal lover. He loves them any way they come!
And the favorite giant python. Happy birthday Dean! (He's a good sport about his birthday)
Ezra made it to three games this year. And as long as you keep feeding the kid, he was a good fan!
Now that school has started, I organize a Wednesday Park Day. There are usually one or two other families that come. This time Brittany brought giant bubbles.
Ezra. Keys. They go together like peas and carrots. Not even a bottle can distract him from opening the garage.
The Highland Park Jog-a-thon happened again. Ezra loved seeing Oliver at school, and Oliver was a great "jogger".
We made it to our first ever Utah Soccer Game. The boys enjoyed the game for about 3 minutes, and then enjoyed rolling down the hill next to the bleachers for the next hour.
The sunset by the soccer field. Sometimes I just have to post a sunset.
Our friend Melia Gomez invited us to her birthday party down in American Fork. It was worth the drive. Amy puts on a great party. We had an Easter Egg Hunt in September😄
Then we played at a really fun, new park. I can't believe all of these boys are big enough to play together like this!
And these three boys could really play!
I met a new friend who mentioned she likes to hike. So, we hiked the Living Room on a Tuesday morning while we just had babies. Turns out there are several people in the neighborhood who just have babies on Tuesday mornings because of pre-school. So we've started hiking every Tuesday morning!
Another successful soccer season! This year, all three boys were in different leagues. I coached Thomas, Dean coached Oliver and Lincoln got a taste of not having a parent as a coach. #spoiled. But three different teams means three different treats!
This kid has LOVED scouting. I'm glad he got to be a part of the pac for the six months that he did.
The last Friday of September is always a random no school day for the boys. So we went to Gardner Village and saw some witches.
Then we used our Get Out Pass to visit the Petting Zoo.
We brought Adam and Clare Hilterbrand on a Scavenger Hunt of Downtown with us.
They are so good to have around, as there was a lot of walking. Clare knows how to make everything more fun!
Clare tried to carry Lincoln in the Baby carrier. It resulted in a goose egg on Lincoln's head.
Then we picked up a Hot and Ready and ate it at the park. Adam kept letting me know that his mom's pizza's are better than Little Ceasar's. Dude, Adam, I know.
Ever since Oliver knew that Ezra was coming to our family he has LOVED him. They both love playing with each other. Oliver started calling Ezra Gaggle. Now that is what they call each other.
We set up Halloween decorations and this kid got creative.
Thomas tried really hard to fit into the 6 month bear costume. And Oliver spent hours reading the Halloween books that have been locked away all year long.
Dean took Lincoln and Oliver to a late football game. As I was about to get Thomas ready for bed, my sister called and said she had two more tickets. So we took Ezra across the street for the night and went to the wet game on the 4th row. Luckily it was a blowout. Thomas was exhausted by half time.
