A big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Poll

So much has happened in the last two weeks. At least, it seems like Lincoln has learned a lot in these last couple of weeks. My parents have been gracious enough to open up their doors to us as we search for a home in Ogden. So for the first time in Lincoln's crawling life, he had to deal with stairs. I imagined I would just live my life downstairs with Lincoln and we would be trapped in the basement together. Well day 1 at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I took a shower while Dean was working on his computer downstairs-(keeping an eye on Lincoln). When Dean looked up from his work, Lincoln was gone, then he heard my dad talking with Lincoln upstairs...Lincoln had escaped and made his way all the way upstairs to see Grandpa! Well, I didn't need to teach him the going up, but I realized it would be pretty important to learn the down, since we wouldn't be locked in the basement. So within 2 days, Lincoln had it figured out, now he tries to get off all high surfaces (trampoline, couches, beds etc.) like they're stairs. Another great part about living with the parents is being so close to lots of Lincoln's cousins. Lincoln gets to play with his cousin Khari everyday! He is actually pretty gentle with her, and doesn't go after her, just her binki and bottle. They usually share toys very well.

He looks so comfortable on the stairs-he's a pro!

Next lesson: Going up with the pants on all the way to the top.

I know you can't tell, but he just made it all the way DOWN the stairs!

This kid loves hanging out with his dad! Dean got home yesterday and walked past Lincoln (who was playing with Grandma) into the kitchen. Needless to say, Lincoln was pretty upset. He had waited all day to see his dad.

Scared of grass-not my kid. He loves it! and just loves being outside!

Lincoln also loves loves loves Grandpa time. 2 favorite things-climbing on grandpa and of course. Dootlie-do

Grandma and Grandpa had this new toy waiting for Lincoln when we moved in. He likes it now, but will probably like it even more in another month.

Lincoln and Khari really play well together. This is Lincoln's classic grin!

That's right, another baby for GG Marler! Shaylee's baby shower with 4 out of the 6 new great-grandkids.

We love playing outside. Lincoln is a pro at this outdoor stuff-he's a natural-Khari likes to hang out in the shade.

We went on a hike up North Canyon in North Salt Lake. It was beautiful and Lincoln loved it.

He even loved the view.

Ok, the truth is, Lincoln loved it until it was time to go down. We lost track of time and didn't realize how late it was. Lincoln cried for a full hour on the way down.

Grandma and Grandpa really spoil Lincoln. He gets so much attention around this place. Of course-he is hard to resist!

Gosh he loves his Daddy-he even says Daddy now.

Here they are! The last 5 grandkids. One from each Gary and Jill Poll child. Their first time together. Hudson made a surprise visit for Mother's Day!
Hudson, Lincoln, Macy, Khari, Whitney

Now Carson has joined the group. I will say it' going to be a few years to get this same group to sit on the couch with all smiles and no hair pulling.

The whole Poll family. Happy Mother's Day!

The 4 new happy mothers. My sisters and babies. A great mother's day!
Brynley & Lincoln, Marissa & Macy, Jodi & Khari, Emily & Hudson

Mother's Day was especially fun for me, because ALL of my family came over. The Graham's joined in on the Mother's Day Fun-so ALL of Lincoln's cousins were together. He will later be happier about the occasion than he shows here.
Brynley, Molly, Brynley, Lincoln, Dean, Lucy, Madi

Lincoln and Grandpa- if the two are ever together, both smiles are ALWAYS this big!
Macy and Marissa are getting ready for the ride home, it was kinda nice to not have to drive all the way back to Provo after the big party.
