Whirlwind months

It's been a fun, eventful and very busy couple of months. It's hard to remember to have my camera out when we seem to be going and doing so much lately. The biggest news is that we will be listing our home this week and move our family and our lives back to Salt Lake City. We're so excited about Dean's new job in Sugarhouse, and we're excited to be back in Salt Lake too. With this excitement, comes the work of getting a home ready to sell. We are so close to be ready to have it on the market, and now just hold our breath, wait, and pray that we will be able to sell this with good timing to get back to Salt Lake before the renters are out. 

I have absolutely loved our time in South Ogden. I have loved it here more than I thought I ever would. We feel established and have made so many good memories. We'll forever love this home, and hope the next owner will love it as much as we have!

It's always fun when Grandpa comes!

When he comes, there are usually a couple of things that happens. One is building a tower to the ceiling.

The other is going Doo-li-do

Oliver is notorious for putting as much into his mouth as possible. He stuffs before he chews and swallows

 One of the best purchases of 2013 was an annual pass to the Treehouse Museum. Lincoln loved it and felt so at home there. Oliver learned to love it too. February was our last month with the pass, so we tried to go frequently. Here are just a few highlights.

The Kitty Cat, is Lincoln's BFF. It goes with him everywhere. For some reason Lincoln wanted to be in the high chair with the kitty cat.

Lincoln has always loved to play in the laundry. Oliver has caught on quickly to how much fun the Laundry can be.

These boys love their milk!

One of Oliver's favorite toys is the filter under the fridge. Lincoln has been told not to play with it, so not that Oliver gets into it, Lincoln is very good at telling Oliver that it's not a toy. It's hard to explain why it's ok for Oliver and not for Lincoln, so Oliver is especially happy to be playing in this picture because Lincoln was asleep, so he could get away with it.

Oliver always heads to his high chair for snack time. Not to get in and eat, but to eat his leftovers from the last meal. 

Almost every morning having Lincoln get his clothes on is a process. He just gets so distracted...right in the middle of changing underwear. Especially when superhero bandaids got left out. 

Just like any kid, Oliver goes through stages...Like eating without hands.

Spring snow is always fun to play in...

It's just so much harder to build a snowman. Those 2 snowballs took a lot of packing. 

Lincoln earned some money to buy Oliver his birthday present...this is the picture where he is happy to be doing his extra job.

We left the stool out, so Oliver jumped right on and of course, ate the cord to the blinds.

 We had a surprise visit from Kyle and his family. Since they happened to be in Ogden, we had Troy and his family come over too. It's so fun to have the these kids play together, and to have Hudson in the mix is a special treat.

Meeting Baby Charlotte was also a treat! It's so easy to forget how little they come.

This is my happy boy. He's getting closer and closer to taking that first step.

I had to take a picture of my green wall. I loved this wall! I painted it almost 2 years ago, but now it's moving time and "stage" the house time... I'll try not to complain after this post, but I'm not looking forward to selling this home.

Here is one of the number 1 reasons I'm sad to leave South Ogden. I love these neighbors, yes even that disgusting dog. They are so good to me, but even better to my kids. 

Bev and Oliver, both are always smiling.

Sam gets his licks in...but Oliver gets his fair share of poking and playing with Sam too.

In the spring, there are always some indoor days. But Lincoln likes art projects, so we're good.

And there are some outdoor days. This was one of those days Lincoln got all dressed by himself. Then he saw that Oliver and I didn't have our shoes and socks on yet, so Lincoln got right to work and set them out for us. Let's go outside mom!

We got to have Khari over for a day. I love having her here. These two are good little buds!

They even like to read together.
