I didn't realize how far behind I was on this until I looked at these pictures and the pictures remind me of distant memories. My how time flies!

Thomas' joy school group was AWESOME! They all got along so well and were all so well behaved!

 We hiked up Milcreek Canyon with some friends. This was Thomas' last day of being 3! I cannot believe how fun he is. What will 4 bring?

 Thomas' birthday was on a Saturday this year. We took the morning to the bike/skate park so Lincoln could use his new "BMX bike" Well, they all had fun, and on the way home we realized the bike was very heavy and hard to ride.

 We went to Liberty Park for Thomas' birthday party. Cake, Ice Cream, gifts and grandmas!

 Then we spent an unexpected small fortune on the little rides they have. The kids loved it, so it was worth it!

 Thomas was most excited to ride the train and so was our good friend Astrid.

 We went to the Utah Baseball game that night and it was a great night for kids!Thomas is sporting his new shoes and socks too!

 What could be better than face painting, swag and a picture with Swoop?

 

Thomas is such an incredible little kid! He is capable of anything. He is the fastest three year old I've ever seen. He is extremely strong willed-stubborn is an understatement. He is such a good brother. He loves to be a brother and he loves his brother. He is happy when he is playing with any or all of his brothers. Thomas is competitive yet a good sport. He loves to play cards and he wants to win so bad! But when he doesn't he tells me "bad game mom" then moves on and is still so sweet. He can beat his brothers in a foot race if he has shoes on and they don't. He wants so bad to be a big brother, and I can actually say. He is! Together, we made a list of things that Thomas learned to do when he was three. It is pretty incredible how his mind and body grew up last year!

·         Throw a football

·         Write letters

·         Recognize letters

·         Play basketball-make baskets

·         Count backwards

·         Add numbers

·         Get dressed and undressed

·         Ride a scooter

·         Skip

·         Make his bed

And I'm sure many other things not listed. 

This is Lincoln. He is 7 in this picture. You can look all across the United States of America and you will not find a more excited scout than this kid! They let him start scouting a couple of weeks before he turned 8 and he is ALL IN! He put his scouting uniform on numerous times before he turned 8.

 

Speaking of growing up! This kid found this drawer while I was standing at the stove with my back turned. He's quick! And oh so proud!

 Among other things, this 18 month old likes bows and arrows, guns and cars.

 Thomas took a field trip to the fire station with his joy school! 

 Marissa brought the kids down and we hiked up memory grove! Fun for all!

 For mother's day, my mom planned a party at Layton Park complete with duck feeding

 These boys were given the responsibility to take care of two cats for a week. They left home early to feed the cats before school for a week. 

 We got together with our good friends the Antezano's. They have four boys and so do we. Turns out, when we get together, there are a lot of boy, and a lot of fun! It was Dollar Day at IHOP, so we took full advantage.

 Dean's project for the year is turning our attic into a loft. It blows my mind when I realize what he can do!

 Flour fun! Sometimes I think of all of the activities I did for my older two and feel like these two are getting shafted. Let's just say they have a very different toddlerhood.

 We found a time to use our pass and get out to the Kangaroo Zoo. Ezra loved slides at this age! He was no fear and head first every time!

 We visited some of our favorite dead people for Memorial Day. It seemed appropriate.

 Dean took the boys fishing for a few hours. They didn't catch anything, but it seems like they had a good time.

 Another lost tooth. The day before he turned 8. How are these kids growing up so fast?

 For Lincoln's birthday we went to Obstacle Ninja Warrior. It was another place on our pass and it was pretty fun.

 Perhaps even more exciting than the cake, Lincoln got to go to his first pack meeting on his 8th birthday.

 Lincoln wanted brownies for his cake, I hope he wasn't too disappointed with the grocery store brownies he got.

 Seriously, 8 years old? Cannot believe he is 8. Lincoln is determined. He is responsible. He is a very deep thinker! He is not afraid to talk to others. Lincoln is a good friend. Lincoln loves to get credit for his hard work. He has dipped his toes into a number of things in the last year including violin lessons, scouting, swimming and knitting. Love this number one of mine!

We went to a park with Marissa's kids. Parks are always more fun with cousins!
