Fall Conference Weekend means one of our favorite traditions of the year. A weekend at Park City and lots of biking. We happened to find a few playgrounds while we were there too.
We found a new park called Trailside Park. Simply amazing! It was perfect for our crew!
Even Thomas was able to rock this trail!
They could have done laps on this trail if we didn't have an Ezra who doesn't ride.
We also hit our favorite bike park that we've been to year after year. It's so fun to watch these boys improve each year.
At one of the playgrounds we had relay races. Dean was one of the best competitors.
And there's Oliver! All of these boys are so much fun!

This is Ezra. He likes all things sugar, and he's not afraid to tell you.
This year, sports have been cancelled. The boys participated in Outdoor Soccer. It was a bunch of scrimmages put together. But it was something, and it was nice to get out and have them run around.
We went on a hike/small adventure to Hobbs Pond with the Blackhursts. This pond was here when I grew up and just across the street. Only I never saw it because it was forbidden and "haunted". We had so much fun! The kids caught a frog, and fished with sticks.
There was even a rope swing. Holly was more brave than me.

Lincoln was pretty good at the swing too.
It has been so nice to have nice, warm weather. It feels okay to have some time with the neighbors. Carter treated the boys to a juice box picnic.
Lincoln needed a little breather. I found him around the block and let him take a ride on my new road bike.
They had the "Primary Program" virtually this year. My boys shined.
We had Marissa and her kids come up from St. George. This is the room designated for them to sleep in. We had our work cut out for us.
Before they arrived, we went to Red Butte Garden for the spooky gardens. It was simply amazing.
And warm!
These boys know how to have fun, anytime we're outside. They were trying hide in the tall grass.
We stopped by South Salt Lake for family soccer pictures.
Oliver and Ezra got their own photo shoot. Can you tell they're brothers?
Oliver wanted to dab for through his individuals. This kid makes me so happy!
Let the fun with the Poll's begin! We had lunch at Sugarhouse park to start things off!
Then we played at the playground! The same old playground is always fun with new people there.
Because the whole state was out of school, we realized the mountains were not the place to be. SO we went to the Great Salt Lake. It did not disappoint. The kids loved catching the brine shrimp! And wading in the water.
Oh, and playing with the bubbles.
Then we got to go visit Marissa's Grandma and Grandpa Beuss. They were so generous and we got to do all things farm. All kinds of things these city boys don't get to do and see. Climbing the hay was a good start.

These piglets were only 24 hours old! They were pretty cute. Thomas just thought they stunk. Oliver, loves all things animals!
We toured the ranch and got to see a very rickety bridge.
We had an awesome ride in the back of the razor.
Then we stopped by Marissa's parent's home. They had hundreds of pumpkins and let these boys take as many as they wanted. It was so nice of them. And all boys were on cloud 9!
Then we went to the Air force museum. We have been here several times before, but not for several years. It was fun to have the boys reading all about theses planes this time!

Another playground with the Poll's
We went on a fun adventure with the Jensen's. They took us to a fun bike trail in Draper. Their girls were not into biking, but they were good sports about watching the boys while their mom and dad did a lap. Then we found a playground everyone could be happy on and Andrea and Lincoln and I did a lap down the trail. It was so much fun! Lincoln did great!
Have you seen our trampoline yard? Well, here it is. Lincoln was tired of waiting for his brothers to play on the trampoline. So when you can't share, you buy yourself your own trampoline. Now he can do all the tricks he wants.
Ironically, the same weekend Lincoln bought himself a new trampoline, he got his two front teeth knocked out. Somehow, It had nothing to do with the trampoline.
It was pretty traumatic couple of hours, but he was in better spirits when we took this picture.
The next day they were repaired. Lincoln wasn't really happy about being put to sleep for the ordeal.
The night before Halloween we decided to find costumes for everyone. The monkey suit was a hit once again!
Then the boys layered all of the superhero costumes they could find. For a family who doesn't follow superheros, we have sure accumulated a lot of superhero costumes.
Sandbox time is always fun time!
Sometimes Ezra just needs to read his scriptures.
Halloween is here! The boys dressed up in their costumes and joined their zoom meetings...what a crazy year!
Because we decided trick or treating wouldn't be the right choice this year, I tried really hard to have fun "room mother" activities for the boys for the evening First, they sampled different ghost poop.
Dean went above and beyond and made an amazing spooky dinner.
Mummies and witches hair, with a witches brew and candycorn jello for dessert. I sure married well!

We had a big gift to open with gloves and dice, and it was sure a lot of energy coming from these four boys. I had to take it away before we finished because I was worried they were going to hurt each other.

I'd call October another amazing month with my five boys.
