Summer Time!!!

I am currently sitting on my couch looking out the window as snow falls onto our white snow-covered lawn. Hard to believe that we had so much fun on that same lawn just last week.
One afternoon I realized that Lincoln's last grass experience was on a blanket laying on his back unable to roll over or even recognize what was around him. It was a nice enough day, that it was time for Lincoln to get out of the house and ENJOY the weather...and the grass.
Lincoln looked right past the grass and noticed all of the dead leaves on the lawn. YUMMY!

Mom, this grass is AWESOME!
A couple days after Lincoln's first grass experience, I decided Lincoln needed a picnic experience. He loved his pea, banana, rice mixture out in the sun. I soon realized how great high chairs are. Lincoln would crawl away two crawls, then realize he needed more food and look back at me with his mouth wide open. By the end of the picnic there was food all over Lincoln and his mom, but that kid LOVES it outside!
That was some good grub!
The sun was pretty bright for Lincoln so we found a little something to keep the sun out of his eyes. He kept looking up trying to see what was above him.

Lincoln is showing off to lil Khari, but really, Khari is showing Lincoln how to use a bumbo. Something Lincoln never learned.

Gosh I'm a good babysitter. Come and visit anytime Khari!

Lincoln is so close to pulling himself up, once he's up, he is nothing but smiles.

Can't believe how big Macy and Lincoln are. They are so nice to share each other's toys.

Lincoln even shares his toes with Macy.

Grandma and Grandpa Poll's house is so much fun! Lincoln sure loves peek-a-boo. So do his grandparents.

This is Lincoln's new toy. He loves it...for about 3 minutes. Then he's ready to get out and move on his own again. Those 3 minutes are FILLED with fun!
