Moab Fun with the Poll's

We had such a fun trip with the Poll's again this year. It was fun to have ALL of my dad's siblings there with at least some of their kids. We did a lot of hiking, a lot of swimming, a lot of relaxing, and a lot of eating good food! Thanks for a great trip, it was fun to have so many people along this year.

It is time for a water break. Much needed on a Moab day in June.

I was worried Lincoln wouldn't get enough water, but he quickly figured out how to help himself. He kept plenty hydrated. 

 Our first hike was Thursday morning. We headed up to Corona Arch and everyone that started out on the hike to Corona Arch made it. I was mostly impressed with all of the kids! They were all troopers! The next day more Poll's came down and EVERYONE hiked up to Delicate Arch. It was an especially hot day, but again EVERYONE made it up to the top. I was so proud of my family-especially coming from some non-hiking lineage.

After a HOT hike to Delicate Arch, the adventurous group moved on to the Firey Furnace. Just the place to be on a really hot day!

I took the Burton's and a couple of my Aunts back down to the Firey Furnace later in the evening. This is a shot at the triple arch.  There is so much to see and do!

Lincoln didn't want to eat his breakfast, but he made himself at home and jumped at Carson's uneaten breakfast.

Dean finally made it down on Friday night. We hiked in the Canyonlands on Saturday. Lincoln is such a trooper!

He especially liked the rock climbing outside of his carrier.

On Saturday night Dean and I took another group into arches late at night. Landscape Arch is always a favorite

Then on to Double O Arch in the night. Sure wish I would have brought my head lamp for the trek back.

We had such a good time! It is always fun to be with family, and the Poll's are no exception. Thanks for a great trip!
