Q:What is more fun than jumping in a pile of leaves?

Autumn is here, and Lincoln is enjoying every part about it. The weather has been so nice, he begs to go outside everyday. As soon as we come back in, he is ready to go back out for more. If he even hears the word "outside" he heads for the door and can't get anything else in his mind until he's had his little fix with the great outdoors...That's my boy!
We went up Beus' Canyon and had lunch on the trail. Lincoln ate some, but mostly just liked getting as dirty as possible.

Peyton and Holly came along. Peyton was more into eating than getting dirty, but she's one good lil hiker.

The trees were so pretty, can't wait to see what they look like tomorrow!

We've had some more fun Macy time. Straws were this day's big hit.

I was in the other room, while Lincoln was in playing in his straw drawer. I didn't realize how literal he was playing in the drawer until he started crying because he couldn't get out.

Another day, same fun drawer.

Lincoln's staple breakfast is his parfait with his Dad's homemade granola . He can't get it in his mouth fast enough.
A: Watching your kid jump in a pile of leaves.
I didn't even need to show Lincoln what to do with the pile of leaves. As soon as I had a pile rakes up, he came running.

Falling,

Then some serious playing. Throwing the leaves is so fun too!

Then Dean started throwing the leaves away. Lincoln caught right on and wanted to help with the cleanup too.

When the leaves were all in the garbage can, he picked up the rake,

and headed for the neighbors yard. There were still so many leaves to rake up.
As soon as Lincoln got to the fence to rake the neighbor's leaves, the dog you see in this picture ran to the fence barking and scared Lincoln out of his pants. Poor kid just wanted to help.
