Nothing more than a day in the life

What January has left us with:

Lincoln often gets frustrated with small tasks that he can't figure out. This is from playing with a toy that gets stuck, to putting small things together or taking them apart. The same reaction comes from taking oranges out of a sack.
We learned about grapefruit this month. As always, Lincoln wasn't too happy with me trying to cut his food, once he realized grapefruits are hard to just bite into, he got used to eating the sections. His favorite is juicing the grapefruit.
Just a couple days latter, he was juicing right into the cup.

A nice dent in the bumper...January 24, 2013, The day the snow plow slid into our yard, and the corolla slid into the house...not the garage.

Lincoln really likes bath time, but he loves looking at himself in the monkey towel after the bath. Of course, the camera missed his huge grin.

Lincoln only lets me wash his hair because he knows he can see his reflection with the "bubbles in his hair" on the small silver disk on the bathtub.
Of course the best part of a bath is drinking the hot water right from the tap.
One moringn I was doing laundry and getting Lincoln dressed for the day. After his shirt was on, he discovered his bug pajama pants. He put them on, almost all by himself, then he found his church shoes and later my utes hat. No use even trying to fix this one.

In his mom's opinion he's 100% cute.

Lincoln loves to explore, especially in the smallest cracks and spaces. He's happy to be wedged against the railing and to coat rack.

Jodi brought her kids over for a birthday dinner. While Jodi and I talked in the bedroom, Dean took care of all the kids- No problem.

Just like everyone else in the state, Lincoln got a cold-that didn't keep him from the Utah game during nap time. He enjoyed all of the action, and was good at finding the basketball during the game.

Go Utes!

Toward the end of the game Lincoln realized he had a better shot of the action on the stairs.

Go Utes!

Even though Lincoln doesn't weigh very much, he's still getting so big! He is so good at reaching for things off of shelves and everywhere he shouldn't be able to.

  1. So glad to see that your time living in "you know where" didn't change your loyalties and that you are all decked out in RED!
