More Lincoln...

Meal time is always an adventure, well not always, but usually. Lincoln is very specific with when he gets into his highchair, what he eats, where the food sits on his tray, which fork he uses. When you have a kid in the negative 5th weight percentile, you sometimes just take what you can get and however you can get the food to go into his mouth, you are happy. In the middle of dinner, Lincoln saw the salad tongs and asked for them in his pointing and asking way. I gave them to him thinking, well kid good luck. He actually tried to pick up his food with them. After not too long, he got a piece of chicken in his mouth. I was so excited, so I just kept encouraging him to use the big tongs. Then when he struggled some more, Dean came to the rescue. He ate a pretty full meal that night!
Yes there are 3 cups on his tray, and yes they have been rearranged several times.

Another example of eating french toast...his way.
This is one of my favorite Lincoln faces. He get's fascinated by so many things.
This is my other favorite Lincoln face. I can never get enough of this kid's smiles.
It's not a purse, it's a satchel. And he still loves to wear our shoes.
Spring is awesome! We all love it. Time outside is always happy time for this kid.
After playing with this ball for quite some time, the biggest smiles came when Dean bounced the ball off Lincoln's head.
Here's that expressive, "wow" face.
And this is why the pictures have slowed down, every time the camera comes out, Lincoln leaves his amazingly cute pose and tries to grab the camera. The diaper you see below was just around his leg as he was working to put it on over his pants by himself.
