May 2018

We spent a day in Syracuse with Troy and Marissa's family while Dean worked on the kitchen. Gavin and Kaitlyn learned to hold a baby...whoa!
Spring brings out the critters...it's going to be a good spring!
Thomas turned 3!!! And he is the very cutest 3 year old around.
We had a small birthday party with his little buddies during their playgroup. He was so stinkin cute and a bit confused about when the "birthday party" would be.
We went bowling as a family that evening. Most of us had a great time!!!

After some pizza, we went to the park for cake, ice cream and presents.

Thomas got a sleeping bag, some small toys and a balance bike.
We had a cinco de mayo party at the church on the 5th! Pinatas were fun!
Oliver "graduated" from pre-school. He is anti hat. And wouldn't put on his graduation cap. It made me laugh...that's my boy.
We went to Wheeler Farm with Oliver's class as one last good-bye!
For Lincoln's birthday and Memorial Day we went up to the Uinta's. I was very stressed and worried that the Utah mountains in May would be too cold for me and my little ones. It turns out, the mountains were perfect!!! We didn't stop having fun and we stayed plenty warm.
Dean and Lincoln widdled wood and we played a lot of bocci ball.

The lake was cold, but those brave boys stood in it.

And while you have a view of the lake, we decided to go for a small walk around it on Memorial Day. This small walk turned into a very scary/exciting hike around cliffs and rocks and mud and a really long day. Once we made it around the lake, we realized just how long the walk on the road would be. Dean gave the kids turns riding on his shoulders until a man let us use his truck to haul the kids back to camp.
This kid was the perfect candidate for a bumbo on this trip.
 What's camping without s'mores?...and dirt?
 and a fire
 And a Recess "birthday" S'more
Dean took the older two fishing while Thomas and Ezra and I stayed back at camp. Ezra slept, and me and Thomas played frisbee. He was making me laugh so hard as he would direct me how to throw, catch and kick the frisbee. It was a new method each time, and I was wrong no matter how I tried.
This is one of the happiest parts of camping! Brothers, mountains, trails😍
I love my little family of boys! The mountains helps our whole family smile, especially the mama bear!
