We hosted another "Thursday play group" at the Planetarium. It is a whole different kind of fun to play with just my two littles. Thomas is getting bigger and fun.
This kid is such a good eater. He eats a banana at least every day. He has learned how to sign "more".
The boys got another free haircut from because of the Utah football game. Just in time for Lincoln to sport a foux-hawk for crazy hair day.
These two are learning to get along really well. Thomas thinks of Ezra and looks for ways to help him. I love it when Thomas gets Ezra laughing.
We went to an event at the vivint arena for Jr. Jazz participants. It was overcrowded, but the boys won some hats and Lincoln got his face painted, so I suppose it was worth the 5 minute drive into the city.
We met up with Jodi's crew, and everyone got just what they wanted.
It waws Thomas's turn to go to the Go Utes game with Dean. Dean goes out to pizza with the guys, so we decided to make our own pizza. I let the boys get whatever toppings they wanted, and we had a good time putting them together.
Before the pizza, we went to Troy's Grand Opening at the BBQ pit stop close to our house, then we hiked to H rock with Macy and Gavin. It was a perfect, really short hike, and a nice day to be outside!
For Family Home Evening, we decided to get out the Hot Wheels and work together on a track. We have plenty of tracks, but it's usually an activity that takes at least one adult, and a couple of kids to get excited about to make it really work. So, for an FHE activity, it was perfect.
Sister Nancy Day has been joining us for Family Home Evenings. The kids really love her, and I think she enjoys getting out of her home to be with our family too.
We got some tickets to Discovery Gateway from Reese. The boys had a great time! Once we've been away from a place like this for a while, it feels like the first time and everyone loves it!
Well, Thomas didn't get to hike H rock the first time because he was at the Utah game, so we went when the older boys were at school. We invited the Thursday play group, but nobody joined us, so we went all out. This kid was fearless and it was so fun to explore with him.
When we went with the older kids, they looked at the H and all quickly agreed, it was to steep to get to. Well, we kept at it, and it was a bit risky, but we made it happen. This 3 year old touched the "H".
We had to do a bit of climbing and it was a bit risque, but we got it.
I had a great time with this kid!
A nice autumn day is so fun for kids, and refreshing for me!
The first snow day is always the best!
Thomas had to relearn how to get ready to play in the snow. He had totally forgotten that snow pants are part of going outside.
We made it a point to go sledding. It was such a great time! The East hill was just not steep enough. We moved to the South steep hill, and the boys kept jumping on each other and I couldn't stop laughing.
We had a "Fakesgiving" Dinner at my mom's four days after Thanksgiving. And, we did our best to get a picture with everyone.
I made rainbow jello for the dinner, and it was worth it. Every kid there loved it!
