December 2018

December came and went with all of the parties and celebrations that come with it! What a whirlwind, joy, excitement and happiness we had celebrating!

Ezra loves this tool set. He can't sit through a diaper change because he is so excited to crawl over and play with tools and saws.

We celebrated Jesus' birthday with cupcakes that magically arrived at our home on the day we were supposed to have a cake on our advent calendar. 

We were also given massive marshmallows by another neighbor. (Every mother's dream). 

We hosted Thomas' joy school class for the first time in December. This group is awesome! They all participate and are a fun group of 3 year olds!

Aunt Jod took us on the Polar Express! We caught front runner in Salt Lake and it magically took us to the North Pole at Station Park in Farmington. Santa was amazing! (If you know me, you know that says something as I'm quite anti-Santa)

It was a cold night, and the return bus was late, but we were having too much fun to notice.

Aunt Jod read the Polar Express and we enjoyed Hot Chocolate on the way.

The very next morning, we saw another Santa at or church...what do you know?

And if that wasn't enough fun for one weekend, we hosted the Poll's and Gram Graham for Ezra's birthday party and the Poll gift exchange.

Is he seriously 1? Time certainly isn't slowing down around here.

Happy babies always make a happy mama!

Dean's mom surprised us all and taught the boys how to play a new card game. Thomas and Ezra get to play with her every other week while I volunteer in Oliver's classroom.

It turns out, that 4 boys= A LOT of wrestling. 

We had a Thursday playdate at Scheels, and had to stop for the photo opps.

We had a movie night in a blanket fort. Even Ezra couldn't resist!

Dean is at it again. Working overtime to give us a more comfortable house. He took a week off work and put some new stairs in to the future loft.

This is my first kid who loves to eat socks. And because Thomas likes to take his socks off and throw them all around the house, Ezra has plenty to choose from.

Rachel Gubler came into town, and we were all excited to see the lights at temple square.

And of course play at the Church History Museum.

The extended Poll Christmas party was another hit. All the great grandkids are growing up!

And they all took part in the nativity. Lincoln was honored to be Joseph.

On Christmas Eve, the Graham's changed from the tubing tradition and tried snowshoeing.

It was less fun than tubing...but still a good time. This kid was a trooper. Oliver just wanted to play in the snow and have a snowball fight and Lincoln was determined to keep up with his older cousins.

Christmas Morning in all it's glory! Water Bottles, Ski passes, ski goggles, "The Get Out Pass", and "The Adventure Pass", were included in the Christmas fun! No way these kids are going to be bored this year!

Gram Graham got the boys some amazing Hot Wheels that will provide hours of fun. And I think longer than just a couple of weeks!

We have a plan! We'll be skiing with these 3 boys and my mom every Friday as long as the snow flies this winter. Thanks to the Alta Ski after 3 pass. 90 minutes is about right for us.

And one last Christmas Surprise! The Utes went to the Holiday Bowl, so we decided, why not. Let's take our new van on a little adventure.

Play places were a requirement for every stop along the way. Lincoln loves them, but mostly likes to play with them in ways they are not intended to be used.

We went on a hike with the Ford's that provided a great ocean view.

After the hike, the boys played on this rocky beach. And got plenty wet. Brrrr.

We found a great park that provided hours of fun for all 4 boys!

Another highlight was lunch at the mall. It wasn't the lunch as much as the moving walkway.

We also played with the Blackhursts on Sunday. We met at church which happened to include Sacrament Meeting with the Utah Football team and Elder Renlund.

Then we spent the rest of the day at Balboa park. 

Monday morning brought overcast weather and the Holiday Bowl Parade. The perfect Spectacle for our little crew.

Then we looked at the forecast and saw heavy rain expected for the Utah game. Lincoln somehow talked Dean into letting him tag along. He had a great time, and I took the other 3 back to the hotel for our own kind of fun!

Oliver and Thomas set up an awesome spoon race track for their new hot wheels.

And just like that, 2018 Ended. Another great year for the Graham Family History books!
