March 2020 will not be forgotten. Ever. By the entire world. We started with an annual song and dance program by Oliver. (3rd kid from the left, front row)

Thomas had a school field trip to the fire station. He loved it. Ezra hated it. But since, he lights up and says "fire truck" everytime he hears a fire truck in the distance.

He was the most handsom firefighter this trip!

I took the boys on a much needed, and very timely trip to St. George. My brother moved his family down there a few months ago, and we decided it was time to visit. A great stop in Filmore was helpful for everyone!

Besides having some awesome accomodations at Troy and Marissa's house, we had so much fun with cousins! A day in Snow Canyon State Park was awesome!

Gavin is an awesome hiker too. Turns out, all of these kids are turning into amazing hikers!

Then we found some sand dunes. Ezra loved it!!! Actually everyone loved it. We could have spent a full day there. Conditions were perfect! No wind, not too hot, it was amazing!

The adventures didn't stop.

Troy moved down to St. George to open a BBQ Pit Stop store. It turns out, the week we came down was the week he was working hard to get his store open for business. My mom came down to help. We had 8 kids, and three adult women. So we all took turns helping Troy at the store.

We got to stop for ice cream on the way home. It's about the only thing that will bring a smile on a long drive. On this trip, we also enjoyed the Poll's new house. We had fun roasting hot dogs in the back yard, jumping on the trampoline, playing soccer, riding bikes, swimming and COUSIN TIME!

Ezra is my condiment guy. He likes ketchup and ranch by the spoonful, or fistful. And he knows where to find it in the fridge.

Right when COVID-19 started, we headed to the hills. Our first hike was up to Ensign Peak! Perfect first hike of the season.

The news hit that school was dismissed and would be online and in home. So, we took some books up to the living room and enjoyed some reading in the mountains.

I love these adventerous boys! The mountains are happy places for all of us!

We sure started our homeschool adventure with some creativity. Here's our art lesson for the day.

These boys have the coolest and strongest daddy around! We are all so lucky to have him!

One of the hardest things about the week that the world/state/city shut down was Oliver's birthday was two days into the crazy times. He was so excited for a birthday party of the centurty. He didn't just want friends to come, he wanted their families, and cousins, and grandmas and the whole neighborhood to celebrate. The night before his birthday, I had to explain to him, that we were going to have fun. But it would just be our family. He took it pretty well. My heart hurt a bit for him, but this kid, won't let a little thing like coronavirus get him upset. We had an awesome day!

I stayed up too late in a hope to get Oliver a happy birthday.

These silly posters at least had him smile for a few minutes.

And the main event! Oliver got a drone for his birthday. We charged it, took it to the park, put the controller in Oliver's hand, and promptly watched the drone fly high into the sky, over the fence with the freeway on the other side. Dean, hopped the fence and found it in a tree right next to the freeway. I went home and got the instruction book, and he and Lincoln have had a bunch of fun with it since.

Again, Cake and ice cream time is smile time for everyone!

This kid is so easy to please! Birthdays for 7 year olds is awesome!

Instead of getting ready or bed. The boys all put on super hero costumes. The next day, they decided to delvier goodies to neighbors. They didn't want to be seen by "ring" doorbells, so they dressed up and wandered the neighborhood.

A couple days later, Oliver lost a tooth at Sister Day's house. Notice the Oliver's backward sweatshirt. He opted out of the full costume and went around with the hood covering his face.

Thomas' school year also drastically changed. His teacher delivered packets of supplies and gave you tube classes a couple times a week, zoom meetings once a week and art projects like nobody's business.

This was our last snowman of the season...Come to think of it, it may have been our first. It was only Lincoln and Ezra that joined in the fun! The snowman was gone by that night! I was glad to do something in the snow, because I was a bit bummed that our ski season was cut short.

A random friend gave us a bar of soap to microwave. Make way for all four faces at the microwave!

Yep, dad of the year! The boys love any and ALL dad time!

We did some creating with marshmallows and toothpicks. The adventure was thanks to Aunt Katie. She gave us a couple of projects to keep busy with.

We decided to have a spirit week...inspired by Oliver's random bed head. Then next day, we had crazy hair day, and would you know it, Oliver had no interest in participating.
