May 2024

May was filled with all of the end of the school year "fun". Including Ezra's animal project that I got to help him create, then go to the school and see. It was good to see him interacting with his friends and he made his book without my help, he at least looks proud in this picture.
South Salt Lake had a fun community event. It was about perfect for my crew. Complete with giant racing spheres,
That Carter and Ezra could easily fit in together. It was actually pretty funny to watch them bounce around in the middle.
All of the boys participated in a watermelon eating contest,
And a butterfly biosphere. Carter is showing off his butterfly.
Ezra was on cloud 9, the whole evening.
Lincoln and Oliver showing their butterflies,
And Thomas got one too. These rowdy boys, were so cute with these butterflies fresh out of the bag.
And plenty of spaces to be rowdy. This was a fun new game. But I don't recall how to play it now.
Go Carts were part of the fun, but I believe my kids got kicked off on their first lap for being a bit too wild.
These giant globes could fit the whole crew.
For Thomas' birthday, we celebrated with his soccer team. They met at the park, and waited for a while for us to get the fun setup. They found some fun at the playground.
Our pump broke to inflate this ball, but once Dean found one that worked, the fun could really begin.
I think Thomas was happy with his soccer cupcakes.
And I think he was happy with his big day...
Which ended with a new bike.
Jodi and Shane had us come over for a cinco de mayo party complete with pinata!

The ward put together a fun activity days for Mother's Day!
Thomas' end of year music program. He's front and Center and in blue.
Thomas' class had a unit on chickens. We got to raise a few chicks for a weekend. The boys loved it!!!

Lincoln is so happy, even though there's a ton of poop!
Sometimes the boys will get all of our soft things and jump onto them, or in this case, snuggle up.
The best field trip of Elementary is Reality Town. Oliver was the CFO of United Way. I got to be a volunteer, and was lucky enough to be in his business.
James was the CEO, and it was pretty hilarious watching these guys work together.
Look at them working hard and negotiating:-)
I took Lincoln and his friend Austin climbing up by the U one afternoon. It's been too long, it was fun to get out again!
Natalie hooked us up with another pass to Cross E Ranch. ALL the boys love it! Thomas is getting a nice aim!
Dean's going to show Ezra how to really shoot an arrow.
They spent at least an hour playing with the baby goats.
The goats would climb all over the boys, and they LOVED it.
Don't forget the rubber ducky wars
Oliver advanced again in Taekwondo
Lincoln was induced in the The National Junior Honor Society.
My brother R.P. gave Lincoln$100. He has a challenge for anyone who goes to his pool. If they can flip off the diving board and make a basket in the hoop on the other side of the pool, they get $100. Lincoln worked on it for over an hour. When he finally got it, I was the only witness. Sure enough, R.P. is good for his word. He sent the cash the next week.
We spent Memorial Day weekend in St. George with the Poll's. We tried a lake day at Quail Creek, but got winded out. Still had
Thomas was one of the brave souls to go all the way under.
We went for a night hike in Snow Canyon.
And had a snowball fight at a park with everyone. Ezra hid in the tree and is always excited for a picture.
Mom, Marissa, Troy, Jodi, Shane, Me, Dean, Cousin Chris, Cousin Rachel.
Kyle and Emily made it in this picture
And what's a trip to st. george without some water?
Sweet Ezra at his field day
I was in charge of the dance party in the gym. Ezra was getting his groove on.
Oliver loved the foam machine at field day!
Lincoln's birthday was really busy for him. He had soccer tryouts, and a neighbor's graduation party.
Late that night, he opened a couple of gifts.
We went to a ninja warrior gym with his friend Jack to celebrate.
It's amazing what these kids can do!
Lincoln had a small friend party complete with cupcakes and ice cream,
A watermelon eating contest
And then they went to see Garfield at the theater. Happy Birthday teenager Lincoln!
