August 2015

We started out the month with a trip to Idaho for a Rydalch Family Reunion. We went camping out of Pocatello on our way to St. Anthony. Just like all summer, the boys loved staying in a tent!
We got a little hike in, but Oliver's legs didn't take us too far.
We made it to Mike and Sheralee's Lawson's and the boys loved everything about it. They have such a great property where again boys can run around and be boys.
Judy looked out the window and saw Lincoln and Dean with the exact same stance looking at the fish in their pond. Of course, by the time the camera came out, they turned around.
Oliver was totally wiped out. He literally collapsed on the lawn. It turned out to be a great place for Thomas to take a nap too. The family was nice enough gather around the boys for the family picture.
Sheralee has an awesome garden. She was nice enough to answer some of Lincoln's questions and show him around.
This kid is 3 months! And I caught a smile.
We got invited to Shawn Twede's birthday party in Brigham City. Swimming was fun, but presents are the best part.
Thomas didn't love the bumbo, but this picture fools everyone.
But this kid still loves the Bumbo!
We took a trip to the Planetarium with Miles and Beck. Still a favorite destination!
We met the Blackhursts in Bountiful for a hike up Milcreek Canyon

After the hike, we got to show the kids what a teeter totter is.
We made it to a Bee's game!
Bubbles make all bath's better.
Lincoln loves all of Thomas' toys.
We took a day to play at the gateway. The Eggbert's tried to show my boys how to really get wet.
Dean planned a day up Milcreek Canyon for my birthday. He made great soup and Peach cobbler. Judy and the Blackhursts joined us for the fun.
And Oliver found the marshmallows
We even got to go on a hike!

Kyle and Emily came into town with their kids and we had a Poll fun filled weekend. Kyle even met his newest nephew Thomas.
Lincoln got to sit by Hudson at the Rodeo.
We went on a fun hike at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was beautiful!

At the Rodeo, Lincoln had no fear, he went down to ask the clown for a t-shirt.
Luckily, Dean caught a t-shirt for him! This smile doesn't even show how happy he really was to get this. Now, 6 months later, this is still the first pajamas out of the laundry each week.
Thomas endured the rodeo, but didn't really like the loud noises.
And of course, the couch picture with the grandkids.
The Graham couch picture.
And this, is the famous t-shirt.
Lincoln was so excited to become reacquainted with Mason. Lincoln had lots of questions about his badge, so it was fun to see the badge on Mason!
So, occasionally, Thomas liked the Bumbo
We had a fun campout to Cherry Hill with Dean's friends. Lincoln couldn't get enough of Ashlyn, it was pretty funny to watch.
And the s'mores are also fun.
It's always a game to see who gets to feed Thomas. Well this day, they both got a chance.

Have we mentioned Lincoln likes the Bumbo? Because he does.
After almost 4 months Thomas has almost outgrown the bassinet. And baby Katelyn needed it anyway.
Citycreek is another fun stop along the free bus zone in downtown.

And one last trip to Bear Lake to wrap up the summer! My parents shared a condo they had and we took advantage.
They brought up Macy and Gavin and stayed for a day and we didn't stop playing!
Then Tara Leung brought up Linus and Micah and they got to enjoy beautiful Bear Lake with us for their first time!

Well, the beach wore Oliver out. It was a fun, beautiful, trip!
