March 2015

More excursions happened in March. It was just getting warm, and we did our best to get out.
Temple square is a hit every time with these two boys.
The train makes them both soooo happy!
This year has been fun as watching Lincoln "teach" Oliver how to be a little boy. The beginning of the year Lincoln was always the boss, and Oliver would do ANYTHING Lincoln told him to do. His response was simply "ok". Oliver still watches Lincoln and copies anything he does...though now it's 2016 and he occasionally has his own opinion.

Lincoln stopped napping when we moved to Salt Lake, but once in a blue moon, he would find something soft and his thumb.
AND NOW IT'S TIME TO GO TO CALIFORNIA
That was easy packing
We stopped in Vegas for a night and had to see the Billagio
 First time to the ocean!!!
Happy birthday Oliver!!! This kid was so fun on his 2nd birthday! When he woke up, I told him it was his birthday, all he said was. CAKE!
Getting ready to leave this hotel and head to San Diego.
And present time. It's so easy to please a 2 year old.
Balboa Park was a great break from the beach. Even when we got home from California, Oliver continued to ask to go to "Balboa park"
 Finally, he got his cake!
We hung out at the pier for a picnic, bubbles, and treats.

We drove all the way to San Diego and spent a lot of time at parks.
A beach as the sunset. This trip to the beach was mostly for me.

 Another fun park
We found a fun children's museum that may not have been worth the bill, but hey we were on vacation.
 More Balboa Park fun
Oliver's favorite, the model train museum.

We saw a lot of trains, but this kid sure didn't want to leave.
We tried to make up for it at the beach. After playing at the beach for about an hour. Oliver stood up and said "all done" then he walked all the way back to the board walk without looking back.

We found a mall with a fun Lego store. Who is having the most fun?
On the way home, we stopped in Vegas at a sports car speedway. The kids loved watching the cars...but they were very loud. Perfect for 2 boys who love the movie Cars.
They got to try on any of the "race cars" there.
Back from California, I did my best to stay active with these kids even with a very large belly.

Easter fun with the Graham cousins.
We had weekly trips to South Ogden for Lincoln's joy school. We loved to stop by our old neighbor's Bev and Phil. Phil always had a way to tease Lincoln. Lincoln is fishing for something off of the porch.
And we ended the month with a trip to Union Station in Ogden with John and Jess Poll
