July 2015

What a good big brother! Probably should have given the helmet to the rider. I love this pic just the same.
The 4th of July is aa new favorite in our home. Our neighborhood puts on quite the production. Pancake breakfast followed by a parade. Featuring, yours truly-anyone who wants!

Then a carnival at the end of the street, Everything is based on donations. So all the snow cones, cotton candy and temporary tattoos you are willing to wait in line for.
And of course, up to South Weber for Grandma Poll's birthday. She's still so good with the babies!
Dean blessed Thomas on the 5th. We planned to have a breakfast outside, and of course it rained. So inside worked just fine too. Thanks to grandma and some books.

GGPa gave Lincoln $20 for his birthday. His final decision was a snorkel. He has loved it, as it is still his favorite bath toy.
We went to the Salt Water Taffy factory and saw a whole lot of taffy!
Lincoln absolutely adores his baby brother!
These boys love to transfer water from one container to another. So after getting water all over my kitchen floor, I realized they could still do their favorite activity-outside. Entertainment for up to one hour guaranteed!
What's more fun than jumping on the trampoline? Jumping on the trampoline with Dad!
A new park opened down the street. Sand and water, just like the beach. Kids love it!
Even in the dead of the summer, these boys still love to wear their matching long sleeve Lightning McQueen shirts.
We took a little trip up Milcreek canyon to make some s'mores
The fire didn't exactly burn, but we still had fun in the trees, dirt and stream!
GGPa loves his grand kids! He loves his great grand kids even more. He adores his babies!
 And my boys LOVE him!
This toy was in the middle of somebody's yard. Oliver didn't want to take no for an answer. Thank you random yard for entertaining these two boys while I fed Thomas.
Uncle Joel makes the best Philly Cheese steak sandwiches!
Our ward rents out this water park one day in the summer. It was a lot of cold fun!
These boys love to pretend. They pretend to be animals of any size, shape form. Maybe reindeer here? Maybe kittens? Maybe dogs?
Summer field trip to the fire station
Yes, these boys are the coolest on the block. These glasses helped us forget we were waiting in line.
Analiesa took us on a fun short trail up Big Cottonwood Canyon.

The Rivers at Liberty Park was a fun destination this summer!

Thomas at 2.5 months.
BEAR LAKE
With the Poll's. It was a dream vacation. The first day was rainy and overcast, but it didn't stop the fun. We got to see horsies and cows,
and do crafts
and eat some good grub!
and go on walks with cousins,
and visit a lighthouse with Grandma
Day 2 was a perfect beach day!
We got to play on the paddle boat
Play with our cousins in the shade

Play in the sand,
Play in the water,
And have great views from the beach!
Lincoln woke up early one morning and had lots of fun playing with Thomas. This kid is such a good big brother!
And because Thomas was up early, I got to catch an awesome sunrise. Really it was better than this.
We came home just in time to prep for the next vacation. Dean showed the boys all about fishing.
These boys look ready for the Uinta's!
Oliver had himself packed and ready to go long before we left.
But he finally made it!
To a very happy place!
A place where boys can be boys!

Where boys can be boys at every age

A place where s'mores must be consumed
And hikes and flowers can happen

And casting can happen, when everyone is a safe distance away.
Thomas proved to be a great camper too!
He even slept the night away.
And this is why these boys love to camp. The tent! It was so fun to have so much space!
Before the month ended we made it to the zoo with Jodi and Khari
Khari will out climb any kid. Even in her dress.
Oliver was mesmerized by these gators. They were actually swimming this trip.
My parents gave us a season pass to Cherry Hill for the summer. It was a hit every time. We went for Macy's birthday, which made it even more fun!
Birthday dancing
Birthday Hugs
And birthday cake! A perfect party!
