May was certainly a time of change. We were all looking for the best way to cope with a new baby in our home. We came home from the hospital on Saturday, and Dean had to leave for work on Sunday morning. The next few days were long, but whenever Dean is gone, he is appreciated so much more when he gets home. All month we did our best to keep the boys minds and bodies busy. One of their favorite projects is painting. We happen to have a lot of extra wood lying around, and it has been a great canvas for creativity.

And this is Lincoln in swimming lessons. He was the only one in his class, and he loved it!

Thomas has always been a good sleeper. He even smiles in his sleep.
We took Thomas on his first hike. We attempted to go to Donut Falls. Our idea was not a unique as the trail was packed. And the road closed to the trail head. We walked to the trail head in about an hour and decided the trail head is as far as Oliver's legs would carry him.
Lincoln's birthday was a success!!! We started at a splash pad with Peyton and Claire. The kids loved it!
Then we tried to make Lincoln's dreams come true with a trip to Chuck E. cheese's.
Then we headed to a new park near our home to eat cake and ice cream and open Lincoln's Remote Control Monster Truck. He actually earned it by stopping sucking his thumb, but it doubled as a birthday gift too.

In the following weeks after Thomas was born, finding these two boys getting along was truly a Kodak moment
